Puto Bumbong at Tsaa

7-Eleven Rewards Points

I just want to share my fondness of acquiring different kinds of loyalty and membership card. I have SM Advantage card, 7-Eleven Rewards card, Laking National card, Puregold Perks card and Wellcom VIP card. The reason why I have these on my belt is because I patronize their products and services. And in return, whenever I buy from them, I make sure that I always present my card to earn points.

In this post, I would like to focus in 7-Eleven Rewards card. The first time I got introduced to it was last year (2014) in 7-Eleven branch in front of Alabang Medical Clinic. One of the cashiers will ask you if you want to avail the said card for a fee of 10 pesos and the good thing is this card has no expiration. Meaning, it is a lifetime card benefit.

Helping People Become Wealthy

The reason why I continuously post here and in my official blog is to help people realized their habits of spending.

Usually, people at my age (20's to 30's) are focusing in accumulating stuff and ignore the very important thing: saving. The minute they get their salary, they have lots of things in mind to buy. Sometimes, they already spent the money that they haven't touched/received yet. This is a very sad fact.

I am not denying that I was and I am currently facing a credit card debt. I'm in the process of paying them gradually until I am zero debt-free. Some people suggested me to break or cut it off to prevent me from using and increasing my current debts. But they don't know my reason for having it. I used the money I loaned to refinance my other businesses that earn bigger interest. But lately, I became careless and reckless in swiping my card. The result, I acquire a huge and large debt.

Know Your Credit Card Limit

If you have a credit card and you often use it to avail products and services, then I advise you to check the availability of your remaining balance every time you go out shopping. Why? Because if you reach your credit limit and you overspend beyond that, aside from the usual 3.5% interest rate per month, the bank will require you to pay a 500 pesos fee. I've just recently got to know this from Peter Pandesal blog. If you have a spare time to waste, why don't you pay a visit to the said site (currently, the site is down) and educate yourself about money.

Pansin Mo Din Ba Na Wednesday Ang Showing Ng Star Cinema Movies?

* Ang mga pelikulang tumabo sa takilya kagaya ng She's Dating the Gangster, Starting Over Again at marami pang iba ay talagang Wednesday din ang play date.

Kailan Nga Ba Ang Father's Day?

Buti Na Lang Hindi Naging Tayo

Naging baliw ako sa'yo noon
Halos ikaw ang laman ng isipan maghapon
Gusto palagi kitang nasisilayan

Practice What You Preach

Everybody can give an advice to everyone. Whatever it is, you must remember that it is their opinion. It depends on you whether you will listen and follow him/her. What important is people you decided to listen to must be credible and practice what they preach. Learn to see first their track record/history.

To this day, whatever you feed your mind and decided to believe in will quickly manifest in you esp. in this Information Age. With just some clicks of computer mouse, everything you want to know will pop up in front of you. But the only price is the time you spend looking for it. Besides, free information, whatever the result you will get in your life, is available everywhere and it's up to you how you will use it. But I will advise you that anyone can create a blog and posts their thoughts and opinions. So whatever you find and read online, learn to sort it out carefully and get what will work for you. Actually, these are the reasons why I do not doubt to invest money in myself and pay trusted and credible people to teach me what I want to know. If you're a Filipino and you are living in the Philippines (OFWs are included as well), here are some of my mentors:

Planning to Have a Credit Card?

Remove BDO from Your Prospect List

Recently, I've just got to know that BDO Credit Card deducts a membership fee monthly instead of an annual fee. Other banks charge you an average of 1,500 pesos per year so when we divide it by 12 (which is the number of months in a year), you're going to pay 125 pesos per month. That's not big if you think the figures but if you do the math, still it is equivalent to 1,500 for one year.
