You Can Ace It, My Sister

Actually, I don't want to make an article about it because I know she doesn't want others know this thing. But I can't help myself to write about it. Don't worry, I won't market or share it with my Facebook. Twitter or Google Plus accounts. I will only write it and let it be this way.

Anyway, today (but I guess it's already ended since it's 6PM now) is my sister's board examination for Mechanical Engineering. I hope she can ace it if not, pass the examination. The pressure is there but I know she can overcome it.

We are always being laid out with new things in life like the things we've waiting for. For example, I know the day of my resignation came and the last day also. It's the same to my sister's examination which she prepared herself by all means.

No matter what, still the day we've waited for will come. So while it's not yet here, make every moment more fun and enjoyable. Feel it and don't rush things.

Again sis, this is your day, your turn. So give your best shot. Don't let others pressure you and be intimidated by what others are thinking. We will support you no matter what the outcome would be.

Please bear with me coz honestly I haven't experienced being in that situation. My course does not have board examination at all.

To My Beloved Sister, September 14, 2012

At last your dream of going abroad becomes a reality. It's worth the wait! If you have a thing you want to reach, don't just dream and strive for it no matter how long it will take us.

Anyway, we just went along with her to the airport and bid our final farewell and goodbyes. She will go there to gradually make her dreams come true. I know we will surely miss her presence at home and our shared memories. Since, my brother has his own life to mind of and this sister of mine is starting to outline her life about what plans she has in the future and others, I am the one responsible in matters at home. Though I have an older sister (because, we're 5 siblings), she acts and thinks not at her age and my younger sister is still pursuing and preparing for her board examination. I'm already resigned at work and have something in mind to follow. I don't want to waste my time in making other business prosper and grow. I want to try if I can serve myself and be my own boss.

Anyway, to my ate Maris, I know you can make it and nothing can stop you (even barriers) from dreaming. Just enjoy life to the fullest. I will always treasure and apply what you taught me along with my journey and try to minimize my anger at all.

Difference between LRT and MRT

I do not know how many times I have experienced riding in LRT but I think it is more or less three. The first one was when we bought clothes because I was a CAT officer before in highschool, the second time was just recently (this month of September, 2011) and I've forgotten the third. :P While in MRT, I rarely ride in it even though it is near to my current workplace.

What differences do they have? Of course, the beginning letter of the word and what it means (Light Rail Transit for LRT and Metro Rail Transit for MRT). The LRT is more primitive and long existed than MRT. Therefore it is old and lying along the Manila area while MRT is the new version of it that lies on Edsa. LRT stations are closed to one another while in MRT, stations are far from each other (based on my experience and observation).. The two are meet at the Taft station (Pasay Rotonda LRT-MRT). There I found out that the two are not rivals when it comes to passengers because they have their destination and place occupied. Due to being curious, I got to know the things I should know before, not when I got a job. Thanks to my brother. Now, I have heard stuff as LRT 2 and I do not even know where it is lying. I don't need to worry, because no secrets stay hidden forever.

Writing or Talking?

Do you prefer writing or talking when dealing with person? Both of these can be used to express our thoughts. But there are some advantages and disadvantages when choosing to stick on one side. So which one are you in: writing or talking?

Writing and talking are two big things that we are dealing in our everyday life. Whether we write through emails and chat or start a conversation, we're still executing our social skills/talents. But there are some differences arise between them.

First is putting your words on a piece of paper or typing (on your keyboard) to keep in touch with your loved ones or acquaintances is much better and easier for me. Because I'm not good in expressing my thoughts in person besides you have time to think and edit your words. But the emotions are not present and can't be distinguished by them. So they don't know if you said it happy, sad or angry.

Expressing your words through speaking is a little bit hard for me. I'm not a type of person who talks my thoughts and feelings to people around me. But doing this will show that you're sincere. Why? Because they see through your eyes if you are true to your words. In other words, they see your facial expression and reactions as you talk to them. They can tell if you are just lying to them through the tone of your voice as well.

Anyway, both of them are important if we use fairly. Writing will make your mind sharp and go to the next level while talking will give you more confidence in yourself and improve it also. If you asked me where I am good at, I would answer you writing than speaking. But I should not let my speaking skill just as it is because there is always a way if you want to.

What I Just Realize While Being Jobless

One month and two weeks ago, I resigned at my work. I decided to give myself a time to concentrate in my online writing and I made it as my full time.

What I just realize while being jobless is writing online (for me) is classified only as sideline or additional income to your full time job. It means supplemental and can be considered as personal hobby or interest. I also learned how to manage my time when it comes to writing. That no matter whether you have job or none, still you can earn money online. Just allot time in writing when you have no work or it’s your day off. Don’t procrastinate and make stress as your excuse.

Since, everyone gets old and I am turning 24 this December, in order to save quickly, we should have a stable job to earn for our future.

I personally encounter a friend who is very thrifty and does not spend as much as possible but save his income by depositing them in the bank’s time deposit. I taught him to use investment vehicles like mutual fund and unit investment trust fund. He didn’t obey my advice but decided to study it first.

I also offered him a loading business and now he is earning commissions from it. He is a top earner and earns more than me.

My personal viewpoint is since I have skills; I must not set them aside and let time passes by. Work and work until you build a money earning investments, savings and others. And when you do, that is the time to call it as retire.

For me, at least I tried things which I thought would make me successful and that made me happy. I’m happy that my parents and siblings are all supportive in whatever I do.

Thanks God for giving me wonderful persons like them.

It’s time for me to act again. I still have two months to enjoy my long vacation but who knows, those two months will turn out shorter and can be today or next week. No one knows.

What Do I Do When I Finish Reading Manga?

I always read manga esp. if I find that manga very interesting and fun. I'm only looking forward to Naruto and Hajime No Ippo but recently I found another anime which hooked me up too. My sister told me that there's a manga of it. The title of that anime/manga is Kuroko No Basket. I get addicted watching it while resting from my online work or business.

Anyway, here are the things I do whenever I finish reading manga:

~ Analyzing and backtracking things I read in my mind.
~ Sometimes, I'm looking for its anime online and begin watching.
~ I also share it with my friends whenever the new release is already out.
~ Taking break from my computer usage so my mind can relax.
~ And writing articles like this.

These are only my preferred things to do after reading manga. I'm sure you also have a routine that is similar or different to mine.

It depends on what you feel to do but basically it has something to do with the last thing you did. Like for example in this one, the next thing you do is surely related with manga or anime.

Three Dirty and Irritating Insects I Hate Most

I am obsessed to stomp, slap and kill these dirty and irritating insects whenever I see one. These insects I am talking are cockroach, mosquito and fly.

I hate to admit it but there is a surge of happiness running in me whenever I killed one. Maybe, because at last their irritating behavior, messy look and continuing spreading of germs and virus are minimizing and came to an end.

This is how I eradicate cockroach: I have a slipper with me and whenever I see one, I approach it on tiptoe and silent mode. I hit it with my slipper and after that clean the place to avoid contaminating of germs.

The way I kill fly and mosquito is the same. I slap them with flyswatter and I shout with joy at the top of my lungs. I don't know but I jump high too after that.

These insects cause us sick and contaminate our food that's why I really hate them. I don't care what other people think of me. All I care is to eradicate these annoying insects as soon as possible...
