...I just want to confirm that the widespread news about the shutting down of the largest social networking site, Facebook, is just a joke. It came from the fake news website Weekly World News (WWN), which made the bogus announcement over the weekend.

By the way, I don't know if I should post it as new entry but recently Friendster team announced that they will rebuild the structure of it and said that those who have accounts there have only 3 weeks before they start the process (May 31, 2011 to be specific). So everyone is encouraging to backup their photos and other stuff coz it will be deleted according to them except the account so we can check it out when everything's done. Anyways, they also announced that this renovation will not compete with Facebook in terms of its features but just reconnect each one of us globally. I think the new Friendster will focus more in bringing same entertainment sums up with business opportunities.
