I read yesterday at my Facebook timeline this line which posted by one of my friends. It's in a form of external article (I will share the link below once I found it). I read the whole article and realized why I have messy not just desk but working environment.
Anyway, according to that article if you're looking for new things, idea and inspiration, messy desk can help you find it. The creativity in you will start to show and manifest. But if you want organized and have a specific task to complete, then clean desk is what you must have.
I also learned that some of the famous people around the world has/had messy desk including Albert Einstein, Mark Zuckerberg and others. Their mind can easily think and prone to try/risk new things. They're not afraid to dive in unexplored areas and that's why new things were born and discovered.
If you want to be successful, then risk should be treated as part of your system. Don't play safe and follow what ordinary people do.
Messy desk can trigger inspiration and creativity starts to bloom. I hope you like it.
